I booked These Certain People for our work’s Christmas do. They kept us on that dance floor all night and the interaction with the crowd was fab. They even let a colleague sing with them, which was hilarious. Such a great bunch of guys who clearly love what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again.
Andrea Bain, Christmas Party

Thank you so much for Friday. It was a brilliant night, and you were all amazing. I had so many people come up to me during the night and contact over the weekend to say how great you were. If you could please pass on our thanks to the rest of the band, it would be appreciated.
Anne-Marie Hicks, Style Acre charity ball

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with These Certain People. You are of the most professional bands to deal with which has made my job as Director a whole lot easier.
Andy Hope, National Film & Television School, Beaconsfield

THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE are here to entertain… Their catchy tunes and confident stage presence captivates the audience. The slick and professional attitude they bring allows them to adjust the their performance to any audience. They have played both a full on, rocking electric set and a beautiful, well considered acoustic set at my venue to which I could equally recommend. Being punctual, reliable and well rehearsed performers. I can defiantly recommend THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE for your bookings.
Dale McGinnes, Mad Squirrel (High Wycombe)

THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE sounded good when I played them on the radio . . . but even better in person.
Paul Waters, Wycombe Sound (Radio station of the year).

THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE played their inaugural gig at the BV last night and won everybody over with a mix of ‘not so obvious’ covers and their own stand out original tunes.  I’m going to post a few clips up because there is so much good stuff. Very confident lead vocals from Andy Pering.
Wally Wombat, Wycombe Music Scene

The night featured some great guitar pop-rock with more than a few echos of 90s Americana such as Pearl Jam, Pavement and Sugar, more recently updated by the likes of  The Killers and Kings Of  Leon. For me though the pick of the bands was THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE fronted by Andy Pering, mostly for their catchy hooks and ‘proper songs’ – all originals although at times it was hard to believe some weren’t Bowie numbers, Beatles rarities or maybe even cult 80s hits by the likes of Furniture or The Fiction Factory. Either way the songs all had their own identity and TCP had the audience strutting their stuff and singing along to the choruses. This band display a nice blend of experience, confidence and hi-energy, and in many ways fill that gap between ‘credible but serious’ and ‘cheesy covers’ – as Mick Jagger said… ‘Its Only Rock ’n’ Roll, but I like it’! Top marks for venue and line-up, and keep an eye out for THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE on the gig circuit . . . highly recommended!

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for your performance at Frogfest on Sunday. We think it was the best one yet. It was really well attended, it DIDN’T RAIN!! 😊 and we have had a lot of positive comments on social media about fantastic variety of genres this year. We really couldn’t do it with out you, so again, thank you for your dedication, your help with promotion, and most of all for your music! Hope to catch you again very soon. Huge hugs.
Claire, Content Manager, Frogfest High Wycombe

Lucky enough to see a great local band twice recently, THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE put on a great show at Fifest & again at the Marlow Carnival. They played classic, feel good, punchy tracks from different era’s. All done with great energy & an impressive sound. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!
Edan Gaskell, Presenter Marlow FM 97.5

THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE were briliant – lively and professional. The interaction with the crowd was on point and they tailored their songs to the audience. Everyone was up singing and dancing – it was a blast!’

Going to the pub on a weekend to listen to the live music is so often a very predictable event. Many sets played by the “talent” are very predictable and just become a game of comparison. Not you lot. Expecting the expected I was quickly realised this might be something different. It was so refreshing to not have a single “switch off” moment, each selection was unexpected and delivered with an energy that drew everybody in. The biggest smile was put on my face by seeing everyone, all ages, all musical tastes getting into it. The variety of genre was the widest I think I’ve ever heard in one set. With each surprise I though “ooo ok can they pull this off” and you did! Even they way you look bridges genres. This is how it should be, fun, unpredictable and energetic. Every pub should book you guys at least once and see just how much fun a band can really be.

I appreciate it’s short notice. I must confess that prior to seeing your band THESE CERTAIN PEOPLE play last weekend at the 21st Birthday Riverboat Cruise we were not thinking of having a band at our wedding but your performance and the atmosphere it created changed our minds. We were thinking of the songs like I bet you look good on the dance floor and mr brightside. Basically classics that everyone knows, it would also be good to include a few of your own songs!
Tom Peters (The Groom), Royal British Legion – Marlow

What a fantastic gig at Marlow British Legion last night. A brilliant mix of music with a high energy performance. Highly recommend for any function. We will definitely welcome you back next year. Thank you. We thought you were bloody brilliant – def want you back next year x
